Halton Arena — First Men's Volleyball Club Match on Campus
Coordinated the first Men's Volleyball Club match ever held in Halton Arena. The process took months of networking with UREC, CRES, Halton management, App State Men's Volleyball, volunteers, and campus partners. Final approval came nine days before the event. We drew 175+ attendees and players and defeated App State in the fifth set.
Vendor Deal — Slunks Apparel
Reached out to Slunks, a top volleyball apparel provider, and worked directly with the company and UNC Charlotte's compliance team to secure a campus-approved vendor deal — giving the club consistent, quality jersey kits for the first time.
Grass Volleyball Tournaments
Organized multiple grass volleyball tournaments on campus, including cross-organization collaborations with CEPA, DALE, and ALMA. Grew the event from an initial tournament to nine teams and 54+ players. Secured sponsorships including Celsius beverages and a photographer.
Adopt-A-Spot
Applied on behalf of the club to UNC Charlotte's Adopt-A-Spot program and was accepted. The club maintains a designated campus area each semester, contributing to recurring sustainability initiatives with the Office of Sustainability.
Club Operations
Built a task sheet used by all 8 officers to track responsibilities, delegate work, and keep the leadership team accountable throughout each semester.
Member Development
Focused on preparing underclassmen for internships and careers — reviewing resumes, offering professional guidance, and creating a LinkedIn group to keep club members connected after graduation.
